There hasn’t been really many android devices with full Qwerty keypad in the market at present, most of the times you would find an android mobile with a full touch screen where you are forced to use the virtual keypad, virtual keypads are not bad but there are still many people who prefer physical keypad, most blackberry users do in particular, this is because its more comfortable and very handy to use while typing in messages or emails.

Motorola did a great job with including a full landscape qwerty keypad in to droid pro, though the keys look bit small they are arranged pretty well and very easy to use. It has a 3.1 inch display screen which looks bit abnormal for a mobile device with a physical keypad, this device definitely looks big but in a good sense, its not a bad looking device, 3.1 inch display is a capacitive touch screen with the resolution of 320 x 480 pixels which looks great with nice viewing angles,it supports multi touch, accelerometer, has light and proximity sensor in place.

Just below the touch screen is the touch sensitive buttons which you might typically find on most android devices. Powered by 1Ghz processor and 512MB RAM this device is quite snappy and fast, runs on android 2.2 Froyo and motorola customized it a bit with motoblur which works pretty nice with nice fluid feel to it. 5MP rear end camera is supported by LED flash which has auto focus and is capable of recording video at 720 x 480 pixels at 30 fps which is quite impressive. Picture quality is very decent as well.

Featuring a bigger display can be beneficial in some ways especially its great for watching videos and does play demanding games quite smoothly as well which is a good sign if you like to play games in your mobile device. There is also a built in music player supports many commonly used formats and of course that includes MP3, to put things simply this is a great multimedia device.

Connectivity options includes Wifi, Bluetooth, GPRS, EDGE, A-GPS, 3G, DLNA, microUSB. With built in memory of 8GB and supporting 32GB of external memory with microSD card, you will have enough space to store your files, battery life lies on the decent side with support for up to 7 hours of talk time and 320 hours of standby time as claimed by the manufacturer.
